Still Life Drawing
Around middle school your child will have the fine motor skills developed to start to learn classical drawing methods. An easy way to incorporate is to place some objects in the middle of a table and have them draw what they see.
TIPS:
- Find the objects Shape (a cup is a cylinder, a book is a rectangle etc.)
- Have them use the WHOLE paper. A beginner artist usually draws very small. Have them sketch out each piece a little larger than what comes naturally).
