Year II Study of Classical Art at Home

A full year of art study focused on drawing from life and nature, mixed with drawing from your imagination, master copy and art history.
What you are going to learn

Year II: Drawing from Life and Nature

This course is exciting! We introduce three toned drawing along with drawing from life.  In this course you will get to draw bugs, birds, plants and animals while also creating imaginary scenes in which your own story can come to life.  In addition, you will draw simple still life objects from your kitchen to reinforce the foundational concepts but now from life, not your imagination. We will also introduce watercolor, master copy of Audobon, as well as art history of Michelangelo.

The course has modifications so that you can easily find the objects you need to draw from your kitchen or backyard, or if necessary download high resolution photos to work off of.

This course should take a school year to complete if the student does 2 lessons a week.  It fulfills 1/2 credit, which is 50-80 hours of school work.

Continue to develop your drawing skills as you dive into:
